how buddhism has changed from place to place
Buddhism originated in Buddha, India, and has spread widely throughout India. At the beginning Buddhism was all about peacefulness and living in a world with no suffering by not desiring anything. People followed the eight-folds so they wouldn't suffer. As Buddhism grew throughout Asia not everything stayed the same. You would probably say that Ashoka was one of the first emperors to support Buddhism and spread the religious practices across much of India. As Buddhism got more popular China started to adapt the beliefs. Buddhism first reached China around the 1st century through an inland trade route. Buddhism arrived during the Han rule and wasn't accepted very well, but after the Han Dynasty ended the religion was greatly accepted. The Chinese broke down the religion and started put their own perspective on it, witch was hold back and pity all animals. Buddhism helped China influence creativity, daily customs, tea, and wearing cotton. Buddhism helped Chins care for others and volunteer and donate. Buddhism also greatly influenced Japan and Korea where they followed many of the same beliefs as China did. Buddhism is greatly recognized all of the world today and is spread to almost every country.
