INTRODUCTION to hindu beliefs
Hinduism is one of the most sacred and holy religions in all of India, but the founding of it is very vague and just arose from other religions and beliefs. Hinduism is categorized by the Caste system witch was the different classes or groups of people that had different importances in the Hindu society. The four groups are Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishays, and Shudras. Later on the people who lower dirty low class jobs got placed in a low class called the untouchables. The highest, Brahmins, had to teach and study the Vedas, ancient Hindu writing that was sacred. The lowest Shudras were servants and didn't get much respect. Caste's today are still very much intact. They even quite similar. For one thing they still make it very hard and complicated to switched groups but you still can be secretly switching your last name. Back then it was literally impossible to switch your group. Vedas were very important to ancient Hindu, they were written in Sanskrit, the ancient India writing and langue. The Hinduism way of life is very important to many people across India since the ancient civilizations and will be there for many years to come.
